VICTORIAN BURR WALNUT DAVENPORT
A lovely Victorian burr walnut, crossbanded and inlaid davenport with ebonised mouldings and a lift up writing surface revealing a birds eye maple interior. To the right hand side there are 4 drawers and to the left there are 4 dummy drawers with turned wooden knobs. To the top behind the writing surface there is a secret “pop up” compartment for pens, ink etc. This is opened by means of a small release catch on the inside under the writing surface. The davenport stands on 4 bun feet with china wheel castors

A GEORGIAN MAHOGANY CHEST ON CHEST
A beautifully made mahogany chest on chest with a dentil moulded cornice. The top section has 2 short over 3 long drawers and the base section has 3 long drawers with cockbeading to the edges and original locks, all the drawers are oak lined. The drawers have lovely proportioned, bold swan-neck handles that appear to be original. The top section also has canted corners with cross banding and stringing. The whole cabinet stands on bracket feet
