SET OF 6+2 CLAW AND BALL CHIPPENDALE STYLE CHAIRS
A super quality late 19th century set of 6 side chairs plus 2 carver chairs in mahogany. These chairs in the style of Chippendale have claw and ball front legs with acanthus leaves carved to the knees. The backs of the chairs are beautifully fretted out with a fine bead carved around the edge. The drop-in seats are upholstered in a diamond pattern faux suede.

A very pretty late Victorian mahogany with rosewood panels 3 piece suite comprising of 2 tub chairs and 1 settee. A GEORGE VI CORONATION STOOL FROM 1937
A stool designed by Edward Barnsley and used at the coronation of George VI in 1937. There were 5700 stools made for the coronation by various different furniture makers, this one was made by Norths of High Wycombe. They were all made to very strict tolerances and inspected by Government officials before being stamped with the GR VI Crown. They were all made in oak, finished with a silver wax paste that went in to the open pores of the timber giving them a silver hue. These were then upholstered in a specially woven blue velvet and gold braid (this stool has been recovered).

Child's high Windsor chair
A Super little Childs high chair made from ash, elm and beech. The restraining bar has one removable finial at one end to enable the child to be lifted in and out. The chair has a beautifully contoured and adzed out seat, into which the steam bent hoop and the sticks and wheelback are jointed. The chair is typical of a Windsor chair made in or around High Wycombe and the Chilterns.

PAIR EARLY WALNUT CHIPPENDALE STYLE CHAIRS
A super quality late 18th century pair of side chairs. These chairs in the style of Chippendale have square chamfered legs united by an ”H” underframe. The drop-in seats are upholstered in red hide. The back legs on one of the chairs have been extended but this would appear to have been done a long time ago
